A Day in the Life of Me

On a normal day I wake up at 5:00 a.m. roughly, and I head to PT. I'm in the Army Rotc so I have obligation with that. Some morning is get up at 6:00 and do training or whatever is on the schedule. I enjoy it because it keeps me active, motivated, and happy. My days feel better knowing that I'm working out early and often too.

Usually, especially during these months...Every morning is a long cold walk to and from PT and to and from class @ THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY. This is what it looks like 75% of the time; or its just ridiculously freezing cold. I'm not used to this weather yet, it isn't this cold in NC. From there I go to class, I'm an art major so i usually am drawing, sculpting, or doing something of the sort. Usually my professors force me to create things I usually wouldn't create...As shown below. Its a steam boat from a cubist painting. (If you care).

After the busy week of school work and ROTC ...comes my weekends. Where I usually do as little as possible. I will certainly study when I need to during the week, and I guess the weekend. I do watch alot of sports on the weekends...most likely football. If there isn't anything good on I'll try and go out with some of my good friends. And yes, there is always Xbox to keep me company if I get THAT bored.

Aside from the typical weeks and typical days I love taking up any opportunity that I can to do something new. For example, I've been over seas several times to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Monaco, France, Croatia, and Bosnia. Most recently Bosnia and Croatia in June. I love traveling. I try and go at least somewhere, not necessarily out of the country, but somewhere every year.

I transfered to Ohio State from NC and still talk to and see my friends when I can.

I have a ton of hobbies. I played College Soccer at my last school Wingate University. Basketball, and other sports. I love snowboarding, and wakeboarding.... They've turned into two of my favorite things to do on weekends or breaks, when I am able.

A day in my life IS NOT that interesting, but maybe it is to someone, so I guess we'll see. but i like staying busy..definitely.

the laughing donkey

This Layout for the blog is pretty sweet. I like The personalized picture, it really jumps out and makes you want to scroll down immediately. Your work is really interesting, so interesting that i wish there was more to look at!!! I think that this blog has a lot of potential if there is any way to get it connected to other sites so people can see your work. maybe try to just add some more links on the side? I dont really know all that much about blogs and what not, or how to get them really connected so you get hits. Im a fan, i think personal sites, especially on artwork, is awesome. The personalization is a big Positive.

What Im Doin

I'm just going to explore some relatively unkown music. I never get the time to listen to anything new, especially before it hits the radio and gets replayed so many times that all i can think about are lines like Fergalicious all day long....

So maybe I'll stumble across jams, and maybe I wont~

Class Critique of Blogs

This is a simple blog page referring to the ideas of living in a "gypsy" type way. I think the idea for this blog is extremely unique. I can't say that I really know anything about this life style or pretty much any facts about it at all. Information and stories coming from someone that has had interest and participated in such a way of life would be very intriguing. I think that solely having the artist's/writer's opinion about the information they provide is important. If information from other communes was posted I believe that she should comment on her opinions of that way of life with any kind of comparison with her own experiences. That is what would make this topic most successful and unique, her simple expression of opinion and experiences. As this idea of a "gypsy life style" may not grasp the attention of many people, I think the story telling part could attract readers for sure. Maybe some Links could be added that refer to more specifics and facts about information referenced to in future posts. I think this idea has potential because the author has first hand experience and readers will find that very credible. You just need to find what strong element will continue to reel people in, in order to gain maximum interest in your posts.
